The Professional Athlete Pain Medication Abuse program at Seaside Luxury Alcohol and Drug Rehab was created in response to our extremely successful groundbreaking Professional Athlete program at another of our other facilities, Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches. The primary difference in the two programs is the upscale accommodations that are provided to patients attending the Professional Athlete Pain Medication Abuse program at Seaside Luxury Alcohol and Drug Rehab.

Our First Pain Medication Abuse Program Goes Pro

When we created our first Pain Medication Abuse program at our Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches facility, we were treating a lot of everyday people (weekend warriors) who had injured themselves while playing recreational sports. This program proved to be such a huge success that word got out about it, and we started getting patients who were former professional athletes. We were shocked to learn how many former pro athletes were living with incredible pain from the years of sacrificing their bodies for their sports. It was extremely common for many of these former professional athletes to have developed a pain medication addiction.

Former Pro Athletes Start To Spread The Word

As we began to treat more of these former pro athletes for their pain medication abuse problems, we created a customized program at the Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches facility that would specifically address issues that were more common to a professional athlete than a recreational athlete.

Then when we had several requests for even more luxurious accommodations and amenities we added the Professional Athlete Pain Medication Abuse program to our other luxury programs offered at our Seaside Luxury facility in Palm Beach, Florida.
